About

Underwriters should spend their time on the risk and the relationships.

Lore is the system that runs a submission from pack to decision. It reads what arrives, chases what's missing, checks the risk against the playbook and prices it through the firm's engine, and nothing goes to the broker until an underwriter approves, rejects or overrides.

Vision

A firm's judgement should be an asset it owns.

Appetite should not live in one person's head. Day one, we sit with the best underwriter in the team and write how they decide. That becomes a playbook: versioned, testable, owned by the firm.

Then the desk keeps deciding inside Lore. Every approval, override and rejection stays in that firm's tenancy. Lore reads those signals, drafts the playbook change, and shows what it would have done to the book.

The point is not more models. The point is a desk that spends its hours on the call, on infrastructure that already knows how this firm writes.

Why us

We built, scaled, and sold a commercial insurtech.

We took Flock from pre-revenue to £50M+ in premium and an £80M exit to Admiral Group. We saw underwriting friction at scale. That is the work Lore is built for.
